then the Acer Aspire R7 is for you. This computer is two in one! When in
‘notebook mode’ the screen can be brought closer to you with the ezel hinge.
The mouse pad on the R7 is actually behind the keyboard so you no longer have
to reach over it anymore. Another amazing feature is that you can flip the
screen into presentation mode to show others your screen. Using the ezel hinge,
you are able to easily put down the screen and convert it into ‘pad mode.’ Acer really made this computer diverse!
7. Smart Watch – The Smart
Watch syncs with your phone. You can receive notifications on your watch from
your Android (or iPhone), access hundreds of apps, and even answer phone calls
through it. As of now, Apple, Google, LG, Samsung, Microsoft and Sony are some
of the major companies who are making their own version of the Smart Watch.
6. Document Extractor Combi
Monitor – A monitor, scanner and printer in one? How convenient! This is an
absolute must have for those who hate to have clutter at their desk. This touch
screen monitor keeps the paper for the built-in printer in the back. The
Document Extractor Comi Monitor easily prints pictures, documents and screen
shots.
5. Gesture Control Armband –
Talk about hands free! The Gesture Control Armband allows you to sync with a
variety of devices to connect you with the digital world. You can connect with
computers to play games, flip through webpages, control your music, and more.
The armband detects electric movement in the muscles of your wrist and fingers
to create the ultimate remote control. Although this gadget will not be
released until later this year, there have already been 30,000 pre-orders.
4. 3-D printers – Finally,
3-D printers can be used at home on your desktop! You can design anything your

printer has a nozzle that will create your design layer by layer. Home printers
will make items out of plastic but researchers are actually in the process of
making 3-D printers that can replicate body tissue to replicate or create new
organs!
3. PaperTabs – If you tend
to drop your tablet or iPad frequently, you might want to look into getting
this. PaperTabs looks and feels like paper while allowing you to use apps as if
you were on a computer. Each sheet of PaperTabs acts as an individual window
that would be on your computer screen if you were using one. You can type
emails on it, send emails, search the internet, and even flip through
documents. To flip through documents all you do is open the file and a page
will show up on the PaperTabs. To go to the next page, you would bend a corner
of the paper forward, and to go back a page, fold a corner of the paper
backwards.
2. Displair – This is an
interactive computer that uses air and water to display multimedia content.
Although this computer uses water, it is dry to the touch. Displair is an optical
multi-touch system that can also interact with mobile devices and allow users
to change files. It can even display 3D images and you won’t even need to put
on the special glasses. There are even scents that you can load to create
smell-o-vision!
1. Google Glass – This is probably the
gadget that has had the most buzz of all the items on this list. Google Glass
is a computer that you wear on your face! It has a camera, display and
microphone all built into it. You will be able to search the web, take pictures
and videos and even upload them to social media sites, handsfree!
